The Men's 3.5 Southern Highlands #1 team competed in the USTA Adult Intermountain Section Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah, August 19-21, 2011. The Men's team won the championships with a 5-0 team sweep and earned the right to advance to the 2011 USTA National Championships, October 14-16, 2011 at Reffkin Tennis Center in Tucson, AZ. The Southern Highlands Men's 3.5 team is coached by Kevin Bradley and team members include:

The Spanish Trail 8.0 Mixed Doubles team will represent the USTA Nevada at the USTA Mixed Doubles League National Championships in Tucson, AZ, Nov. 18-20, 2011. The team dominated the Intermountain Section Championship in Boulder, CO, 5 wins to 0 losses, to advance to the National Championships.

Team members include: Captain; Steve McCrary, Sara Arizmendez, Minette Curnutt, Kevin O'Hara, Kathleen Gustafson, Marylynn Weber, Drew Isley and Tony Tijerina.

World No. 1 doubles pairing Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan equalled Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde's Open Era record of 11 Grand Slam titles on Saturday as they won their second Wimbledon crown.

After surviving two nail-biting five-set matches to reach the final, the Bryans enjoyed a much more straightforward victory in the championship match as they dismissed 2010 runners-up Robert Lindstedt of Sweden and Romanian Horia Tecau 6-3, 6-4, 7-6(2) on Centre Court.

On April 16th, pros from across the country gathered at the Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada for the 6th Annual LIVESTRONG Day "Ultimate Ringer" Doubles Event. Each year, the pros bring the Nevada community together for an enjoyable evening of tennis and to raise awareness about new cancer treatments, the benefits of early detection and the need for healthy lifestyles. The event benefits the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
