Red Rock Pro Open Marks Sixth Year of Play for USTA Women’s $50,000 Pro Circuit Event in Summerlin
LAS VEGAS (Aug 8, 2014)- Las Vegas’ only professional tennis tournament returns to the luxurious setting of the Red Rock Country Club in Summerlin, and will be contested September 21st-28th as the newly named Red Rock Pro Open.
The Red Rock Pro Open is a USTA women’s $50,000 Pro Circuit Challenger tournament with a 32-player field in singles and 16 doubles teams. The event is being run by tournament director Mike Copenhaver with the support of the Rock Country Club staff. "We’re excited to bring professional tennis back to Red Rock Country Club," Copenhaver said. "This is a tournament our members and our community have supported since its debut back in 2009.
