Presented by the Marty Hennessy Inspiring Children Foundation, took place Feb 28-March 3 at Lorenzi Park. Nationally ranked tennis players from many states came to Las Vegas to compete for level 5 United States Tennis Association ranking points. Many of the players participating are on a pathway to play at the collegiate and professional levels.
TAO Group and TAO Cares partners with the MH Inspiring Foundation in hopes of making this annual tennis event one of the best in the country. By professionalizing the tournament Tao is helping the foundation and USTA Nevada to solidify Las Vegas as the west coast hub for national events. Las Vegas is presently on its way to having more national events than any city in America.
Co-founder of TAO Group Jason Straus is one of the founding board members and supporters of the MH Inspiring Children Foundation, where tennis is just one speck of their multifaceted approach to changing lives. The Foundation's goal is to revolutionize youth development by providing an ideal model of education in underserved communities, like the one surrounding Lorenzi Park.
